Field Service Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Target Analysis. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing scientific instruments and laboratory equipment at various customer sites in Greece. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Set up and install new scientific instruments and laboratory equipment at customer locations.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Repairs: Diagnose and repair instrument failures, and/or software issues in a timely manner.
Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical training.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English. Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems independently.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience: Experience in a field service role, preferably with scientific instruments or laboratory equipment, would be apreciated.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, and software issues. Familiarity with scientific instruments is a plus.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in equipment maintenance or field service engineering.
IT Skills: Proficiency with software tools and applications related to equipment diagnostics and reporting.
Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects and service calls efficiently.
