Over time, instruments will wear, causing them not to run as smoothly or report results as accurately. Within this, part of the instruments can be replaced with new or refurbished spare parts, preventing downtime and keeping them working effectively.
Target Analysis’ repair services for GCs, HPLCs, mass spectrometers, and other lab instruments include warranty coverage, service agreements, and preventative maintenance. Whether you are seeking instrument repair or scheduling a service call for lab equipment repair.
Our experienced technicians will quickly restore your pump to top performance – regardless of its age. We offer comprehensive on-site support for vacuum components and systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
Target Analysis IQ/OQ/PQ procedures strictly follow good laboratory practices (GLP), which require that all laboratory instrumentation be inspected, cleaned, and maintained. We provide an independent and comprehensive testing service for Mass Spectrometry & Chromatography instruments to help you meet your regulatory and operational requirements and standards.
The philosophy behind our services is that we can support all the scientific instruments that we sell. Our technical department is trained and certified to offer a complete system service across multiple brands and models, including Mass Spectrometers (MS), Liquid Chromatographs (LC), Gas Chromatographs (GC), Autosamplers, Detectors & Peripherals
Remote support provides additional service through remote software to resolve instrument issues before a technician is dispatched. Our remote support team works with you via phone and software to remotely control your system to troubleshoot, repair or assist. This additional level of support allows for faster resolution of issues and ultimately reduces instrument downtime.
Application support is a service provided by our team that gives you a strategy and technique to quickly and confidently develop high-quality methods. You will learn a proven technique that will guide you step-by-step through the process of method development, applying principles that will make the process more efficient. Application support can take the form of a course, training, or development of an analytical method based on your real samples.

The enhanced ultrafleXtreme: the industry standard MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometer with 5 GS/s 10 bit digitizer for enhanced resolution and dynamic range
Full MS/MS data sets can be acquired with up to 1000 Hz laser repetition rate from low fmol levels within seconds.
Confidence
Dedicated software analyzes and visualizes the high content data automatically, generating results with high confidence identifications.
Flexibility
The well-established proprietary smartbeam-II laser provides unprecedented analytical and matrix flexibility in diverse workflows.
Important Features to Consider
Fast and direct results for efficient research
Bruker’s patented innovative smartbeam-II laser enables high data acquisition speed in both MS and MS/MS at full systems performance. The well-established proprietary smartbeam-II laser provides unprecedented analytical and matrix flexibility in workflows from protein tissue imaging, intact proteins analysis, glycoproteomics, biologics or oligo QC, polymer analysis, to LC-MALDI proteomics and TLC-MALDI – all fully enabled at 1-2000 Hz repetition rates.
Broadband mass resolving power up to 40,000 enables precision proteomics via Bruker’s unique PAN technology for highest mass resolution across a very broad mass range, not just at a selected optimum.
The FlashDetector combined with a 5 GS/s 10-bit digitizer and latest advances in electronics provide mass resolving power up to 40,000 and 1 ppm mass accuracy for highest confidence.
The IR-laser based self-cleaning ion source ensures robust, long-term highest-performance operation. Very long MALDI laser lifetime in combination with automated source cleaning in just minutes leads to high uptime and low maintenance costs.
Typically, full MS/MS data sets can be acquired with up to 1000 Hz laser repetition rate from low fmol levels within seconds. The Bruker bioinformatics software is perfectly adapted to analyze and visualize the match between the raw spectra and annotated peptide and protein structures.

Advanced Peptide and Protein analysis: Conquer peptide and protein samples too difficult for ESI, e.g. membrane proteins, which do not ionize well using ESI. Analyze challenging proteins in depth after digestion with the optional LC-MALDI spotter – spotOn® – and subsequent MS/MS analysis. Proteins can be identified with high confidence with unmatched ease.
Oligo QC at unparalleled pace with MALDI and BioPharma Compass®
Polymer Analysis: Unlike electrospray mass spectrometers, which utilize ion guides to send ions towards detectors, axial MALDI-TOF instruments have minimal ion optics. As ion guides are tuned for optimal transmission of certain mass ranges, polymer distributions can be shifted. This is far less the case with axial MALDI-TOF instruments rendering them as ideal polymer analysis technology. All important polymer parameters, such as average molecular weights (Mn and Mw), dispersity Đ, degree of polymerization, and the mass of the combined end groups, are quickly determined. MALDI-TOF/TOF spectra acquired with the enhanced ultrafleXtreme allow for single end group analysis.
