EPA 500 series – For Drinking Water

The 500 series contains standards used in proposed and published methods for identifying and quantifying organic compounds in drinking water.

The list of organic compounds includes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, synthetic organic compounds (SOCs), and trihalomethane disinfection byproducts.

Analytical techniques used in identification and quantification include gas chromatography with selective detectors (PID, ELCD, ECD, FID, NPD, FPD), gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS), and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). For your convenience, we offer large mixtures containing all target analytes or smaller sub-mixtures at higher concentrations to provide flexibility in your analysis.
