KEY TOPICS

Deeper Structural Insights into Complex Biomolecules

Explore the webinar’s key topics, from the underlying technology to advanced applications.

01

Beyond Molecular Identification: Structural Characterization with timsOmni

Mass spectrometry is increasingly moving beyond molecular identification toward deeper characterization of sequence, modification sites, molecular structure and higher-order organization. The timsOmni platform expands the analytical toolbox of the timsTOF architecture by combining trapped ion mobility, advanced ion manipulation and MSⁿ with complementary collision- and electron-based fragmentation strategies.

02

timsOmni Architecture and Analytical Capabilities

In this webinar, we will introduce the evolving timsOmni architecture and highlight how its unique combination of ion mobility separation, ion trapping and trapped electron-based dissociation enables new workflows across a broad range of molecular classes.

03

Advanced Workflows for Structural MS Analysis

Examples will include advanced glycoproteomics workflows using DDA, Target and Guided PASEF EXD/EXciD; localization and structural characterization of glycopeptides; top-down analysis of proteins and biotherapeutics; and native MSⁿ of large protein complexes. We will also discuss how complementary activation mechanisms and multi-stage experiments can provide structural information that is difficult to access using conventional MS/MS workflows.

04

From High-Throughput LC-MS to Targeted Structural Characterization

The webinar will illustrate how flexible ion manipulation and fragmentation can bridge high-throughput LC-MS analysis with deeper, targeted structural characterization on a single platform.
