Vials, Inserts, and Closures

Target Analysis has created its series of vials, inserts, and caps/closures for your lab convenience. They are trademarked as Target Vials, Target Inserts, and Target Caps. We offer 4 Target Vials types to collect, store and analyze your samples. Find different configurations, sizes, colors, volumes, and material compositions and combine them with the caps and inserts suitable for your analysis.

Target Vials are commonly used with an autosampler. A metal needle pierces the cap and withdraws the sample. The most common vial among the analytical laboratories is the 2mL vial. We offer clear and amber glass, both of which are chemically inert. Amber glass protects sensitive samples from radiation exposure.

Target Inserts, conical or flat-bottom configuration, are used to reduce the vial’s capacity for smaller samples.

Target Caps are precisely designed to support all applications in instrumental analysis. Include closures with and without septa, screw caps, snap caps and crimp caps. We recommend using screw caps for liquid chromatography applications. Crimp caps are well suited for gas chromatography applications because they avoid sample tampering and trap the volatile compounds well.
