USP APPARATUS 2 – PADDLES
Spin-paddles (USP Apparatus 2) are available in 1-liter 316 stainless steel (74-105-202) or PVDF (74-105-201), or 2-liter 316 stainless steel (74-105-361) or PVDF (74-105-351). All spin paddles are serialized. The spin-paddles can be used for testing transdermal products within the dissolution tester, such as paddle-over-disk (USP Apparatus 5). They are designed for use with Vision G2 Classic 6, Vision G2 Elite 8 (1 and 2-liter), and CD14 dissolution testers.
USP APPARATUS 1 – BASKETS
USP Apparatus 1 baskets for use in Teledyne Hanson testers are 40-mesh and made of 316 stainless steel (74-105-252). Each basket has a unique serial number. Baskets are attached to serialized spin shafts made of 316 stainless steel. Spin shafts are available for 1-liter vessels (74-105-251) and 2-liter vessels (74-105-371). Baskets are compatible with the six-vessel Vision G2 Classic 6, the eight-vessel Vision G2 Elite 8, and our 14-vessel CD14 dissolution testers.
MINI BASKETS AND MINI PADDLES
The mini basket (74-105-221) for small volume dissolution is made of 40-mesh type 316 stainless steel and is serialized. The mini spin-shaft (74-105-220) required for this application is also made from 316 stainless steel and is serialized. The serialized mini spin-paddles for small volume (150 mL) dissolution, are available PTFE-coated (74-105-203) or made of 316 stainless steel (74-105-204). These mini paddles are also used in immersion cell applications per USP <1724>. For Chinese small volume (250 mL CSV) applications a 316 stainless steel mini spin-paddle (74-105-290) is available.
STATIONARY BASKETS
An 8-mesh stationary basket (95-590-150) made of 316 stainless steel helps with problems associated with floating, sticking, and swelling dosage forms, and complies with the USP Monograph for Felodipine Extended-Release tablets. The stationary basket cover (74-107-019) accommodates the 1-liter vessel and the stationary basket.

Teledyne Hanson offers a USP Apparatus 1 basket specifically designed for suppositories (65-700-048). Attach it to a USP 316 stainless steel basket shaft (74-105-251) for suppository testing. The basket is compatible with the six-vessel Vision G2 Classic 6, the eight-vessel Vision G2 Elite 8, and our 14-vessel CD14 dissolution testers.
